We are often asked how we use the little motorcycles that we carry on the front of MogTug. They have proven awesome little adventure machines, helping us with everything from getting groceries, to scouting a dirt road before busting through with MogTug.
One random Sunday in northern Peru, we decided to lean into the adventure side of the equation, and take them into some sand dunes, where they definitely don’t belong with their slick tires, and whimpy 125cc engines. Nonetheless, it gave us a great excuse to fly the 3DR Solo and get some high speed practice in. We are pleased to we only hit the dirt once with the moto, and just twice with the 3DR. All pilots, and machines escaped unharmed.
